● SYSTEM : The ESCORT MP5A5 uses a pretty unique system called ASCS (Air Shaft Control System) which provides a very loud sound and a powerful recoil effect. Its power source is a gas or compressed external tank. (this replica will be not as effective or precise as an AEG but will have an average GBB performances). The ASCS system is made from brass and weighs 248g which provides the MP5 a great blowback effect. The Hop Up unit can be adjusted using a small BTR key.

● EXTERNALS : The external body parts are based on JAC MP5 model (JAC was a Japanese manufacturer in the 80s & 90s). The ESCORT MP5A5 has a stamped aluminum upper receiver that mimics the real MP5 very well. The lower receiver is made from high density plastic.
The JAC MP5 grip had a 5 positions selector (safety / semi / 2 shots burst / 3 shots burst / full auto), the 5 clicks are remaining on the ESCORT MP5A5 but only SAFETY, SEMI and FULL AUTO will be live (markings show only 3 positions too).
The ESCORT MP5A% uses AEG MP5 magazines (standard version / NOT NEXT GEN!). Tokyo Marui MP5 magazines are compatible.

● MAINTENANCE : The ESCORT MP5A5 can be easily disassembled for maintenance. The ASCS system is not keen of dirt so a good cleaning maintenance is required. It is recommended to lightly spray silicone oil inside the magazines to get an optimal functionality of the SMG.
